Applicable to teleprotection command systems for conveying command information, usually in conjunction with protection equipment. Establishes recommended test procedures and performance requirements for command type teleprotection equipment. Information conveyed may be in either digital or analogue form. The equipment referred to may be voice frequency or power line carrier equipment, for use with various telecommunications systems. Also, the command type teleprotection may be digital equipment used with digital telecommunication systems.
