Defines the electrical interfaces within the components comprising the auxiliary power systems with other train-borne systems. Does not provide recommendations or standards for the following; Motive power systems or auxiliary power systems required for locomotives; Car-body wiring, branch circuits, circuit breakers, protection, and devices to interconnect the auxiliary power components with other car-born equipment; Rotating machinery, such as motor alternator sets; Mechanical mounting or vibration isolation of equipment.
