Abstract

Describes factors relating to electrolyte spill containment and management for vented lead-acid (VLA), valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA), vented nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd), and valve regulated Ni-Cd stationary batteries. Suggestions are made for drafting model codes.
