Abstract

Sets out a method for determining the dimensional change of yarns and sewing threads after immersion in a standard test solution. Two alternative test solution temperatures are given.

Scope

This Standard sets out a method for determining the dimensional change of yarns and sewing threads after immersion in a standard test solution.
The method describes two alternative test solution temperatures as follows:
(a) Test A-Solution temperature 40 C.
(b) Test B-Solution temperature 100 C.
