Abstract

Specifies requirements for tarpaulins and shaped covers including canopies manufactured from: (a) rot and water-resistant duck, or (b) coated fabrics made from natural or synthetic fibres. Classifies tarpaulins and shapes covers into two types depending on the material they are made from, and into four duties. Covers seams, stitching, and appurtenances such as shortening lugs, eyelets and ropes.

Scope

This Standard specifies the requirements for tarpaulins and shaped covers including canopies manufactured from a rot- and water-resistant duck, or from coated fabrics made from natural or synthetic fibres.
