Abstract

Specifies requirements for hose and hose assemblies for use with compressed air, and having maximum working pressures of up to 2.5 MPa.

Scope

This Standard specifies requirements for hose and hose assemblies for use with compressed air, and having maximum working pressures of up to 2.5 MPa.

NOTES:
1 The test methods in this Standard ensure hydrostatic pressure test requirements are met at 23C. The maximum working pressure may be temperature-dependent and may reduce at elevated temperatures. Users are advised to consult the manufacturer for performance information at temperatures other than at 23C.
2 Appendix A contains recommendations and advice on information which should be provided by the purchaser at the time of placing an enquiry or order.
