Abstract
Sets out the determination of the chlorine content of coal and coke by the Eschka procedure.

Scope
This Standard sets out a method for the determination of the chlorine content in coal and coke by the Eschka procedure.
NOTE: The presence of residual halogen-bearing organic float-and-sink liquids in coal samples will affect the determination of chlorine.
