Scope

This document provides a guide to the features and typical characteristics that are expected of a solvent-borne wood stain (opaque or semi-transparent) when applied by brush in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to rough-sawn or dressed timber.
Stains covered by this Standard are classified as paint Type B23 and B23A of AS/NZS 2311.
