Abstract

Sets out the requirements and performance tests for fire blankets.

Scope

This Standard specifies requirements for fire blankets intended for use by one person and the material used for the manufacture of such fire blankets.
This Standard does not include requirements for blankets or sheets intended to be used in applications other than those given in Clause 1.2.
