Abstract

Adopts ISO 16106:2006 as an Australian Standard. Provides guidance on quality management provisions applicable to the manufacturer, measuring and monitoring of design type approved dangerous goods packagings, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and large packagings. The Standard is intended to be used in conjunction with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000. This Standard does not apply to design type testing, which is addressed in the United Nations document titled Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods-Model Regulations.
