Methods for sampling and analysis of ambient air Determination of carbon monoxide - Direct-reading instrumental method
Standards Australia
Sets out a method for the determination of carbon monoxide in ambient air to a concentration of 600 mg/m(sup)3(/sup) using a direct-reading instrument. The requirements for direct-reading instruments specified in the Standard were derived from USEPA Air Regulations Pollution Control Guide, Part 53: Ambient air monitoring reference and equivalent methods, Section 8183, Subpart B: Procedures for testing performance characteristics of automated methods.
This Standard sets out the method for the determination of carbon monoxide in ambient air using a direct-reading instrumental method. This method applies to the determination of carbon monoxide in ambient air where the concentration typically lies within the range 0 to 50 p.p.m. by volume (approximately 0 to 62.5 mg/m3).
