Abstract

Adopts IEC 60601-2-8, Ed.2.0 (2010) to specify requirements for the safety of therapeutic X-ray equipment, including the accuracy and reproducibility of performance to the extent that these are related to radiation quality and the quantity of ionizing radiation produced. To be read in conjunction with AS/NZS IEC 60601.1:2015.
