This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the methods for determination of the linear-chain isomers of 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8-heptadecafluorooctanesulfonate (perfluorooctanesulfonate, PFOS) and 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8-pentadecafluorooctanoate (perfluorooctanoate, PFOA) in industrial water and wastewater by using the solidphase column and high performance liquid chromatograph tandem mass spectrometer (LC/MS/MS meter).
