This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the verification methods of the pendulum-type impact-testing machines used for the Charpy impact test, the Izod impact test and the tensile-impact test specified in JIS K 7111-1, JIS K 7111-2, JIS K 7110 and JIS K 7160, respectively.
